Bickerton Jewellery was established in 1963. We employed a small and efficient team of skilled craftsmen and introduced them to his philosophy of in house training. In 1981, Stephen Bickerton joined the team at the workbench.

1987 saw the opening of a retail outlet "Bickerton Jewellery" to showcase their beautiful jewellery, under the direction of both Stephen and his father Mick.

The family-run shop, conveniently located in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter (right next to the railway station), was an opportunity to exhibit their high quality jewellery, hand made on the premises. Customers have the opportunity to hand pick gemstones and witness craftsmen at work, creating jewellery, often to customers designs and ideas. Such was the success of this hands on approach to retailing it became necessary to increase the shop area to provide more stylish surroundings to display their exquisitely made pieces.

Customers at Bickerton Jewellery are met with old fashioned values and expert service. Special commissions, repairs and valuations are all prepared on the premises.

In the last 40 years we have become a well respected manufacturer and have produced items of jewellery for many thousands of customers including, on rare occasions, members of the Royal Family, The Sultans of  Oman and Brunei, and many generals and brigadiers and all other ranks of the British Army.
